Glocal academy in collaboration with GVK EMRI successfully delivered its first soft skill course at GSL medical college, Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh state, India.

During the closing ceremony, principal of the medical college asked feedback from the participants. While there was lots of positive feedback, one of the participants described her experience of the course was like an academic feast. Her words were like music to the ears of the course faculty.

Its interesting she used (Academic) feast to describe the experience of the (soft skills) course. Feast in noun form is used to describe a meal that is well prepared and greatly enjoyed. May be she had a feeling of having a good meal.Hearing those words made us reflect on the hard work and planning that went in designing the course.

The course was carefully orchestrated to meet the needs of the participants. The contents of the course has sound research evidence base and is delivered by expert and friendly faculty. Teaching techniques such as interactive small group exercises and role-plays formed part of democratic, collaborative and participative learning environment.

Participants had hands on opportunity to practice skills and received constructive feedback in a safe and supportive environment.
The participants were enthusiastic, internally motivated and actively participated in the course activities. The environment was conducive for teaching and learning.

The course was indeed an 'Academic feast' for the participants. We will endeavor to provide similar experience to the participants of our future courses. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the participants for making the course a great success. More feedback reports to come. Keep watching . Best Wishes GLOCAL Academy.
